Wastewater Engineering includes the design of on-site effluent disposal for land that is not connected to an urban sewerage system. Solutions may include ;

• traditional septic tank and absorption trench
• aerated wastewater treatment systems (AWTS) with an absorption trench, absorption bed or the surface irrigation alternative to re-use treated effluent
• sand mounds, evapotranspiration beds, Ecomax etc. for limited area sites

These systems cater for Residential wastewater as well as Commercial applications such as cellar doors, roadhouses, caravan parks, picnic grounds and RFS stations.
